TWIST BALLPOINT PEN

This picture shows how the Twist Pen parts go together, and what a finished pen can look like with your beads. (Example is with 14/0's). Quality mechanisms and parts, 24k gold plated (the actual body tubes to be beaded around are made of plain brass), Cross (tm) style, twist mechanism pens. Clips are All Gold. Fantastic style for home or office. The pen is 5 1/4" long. Each section (top and bottom) to be beaded is 2 1/8" long. The width of the recessed areas is slightly under 1/32". The diameter of the finished pen, when using Delicas (r), is 3/8". The clip is included, but you can leave it off to accommodate more sculptural bead designs. The ink infill is included. Refills (They are around $ 1.60 each for the discount brand), are standard Cross (tm) compatible ballpoint refills available at any office supply or general discount store.

Top: Glued pink fabric onto brass tube. Tubular peyote into
netting, back to tubular. Anchored "bead tube" to fabric (needle goes just
fine into fabric glued onto brass tube with tacky glue).
Bottom: used gold pen bottom from products menu Mostly size 15 seed beads, a few Delicas for accent Instructions: tc8net.pdf |
 White bridal fabric
fray-checked and tacky glued to brass tube. Tubular to netting, back to tubular.
This would look great on the Letter Opener, or any other project. (Add
more rows of netting for the letter opener.
