Necklace Perfume Vial Holder Specifics and Final Assembly -

24k gold plated. Screw-on top. Holds a glass vial inside, (included). Also comes with a black silk cord 28" long. This cord is adjustable. The cord comes with a crimp end and an end with the usual necklace spring ring. Necklace can also be used for a folded-up bill, or small pills. The overall length of the holder is 1 3/4". The finished diameter is 3/8". The brass tube to be decorated is 1 3/8" long, and the recessed area is 1/32" wide.  

The necklace comes in five parts:  1) The black necklace cord with crimp end and spring ring attached, 2) The body tube with End Cap already attached,  3) the Threaded Insert 4) the top cap with hole for attaching black necklace cord (this top section may or may not already by screwed onto the body tube 5) the glass perfume vial.The project goes together as follows:

**FIRST:  Place your beadwork over the brass tube WITHOUT glueing it on.  

Screw the gold plated cap with hole for attaching the black necklace cord, onto the threaded insert.  MAKE A NOTE or a MARK where the cap 'lands' (meets the top of the beads), note WHICH way the black necklace cord will be placed.  This indicates what is the front of your necklace.  SO, if you have a design in your beadwork that needs to face front, make it face front so that the necklace cord allows the finished piece to 'sit' correctly.  Glue the beadwork onto the brass tube accordingly.

Necklace cord - Put the free-end of the black cord Through the hole in the Top Cap of the Vial Holder.  Then, decide how long you want the black necklace cord to be, and cut off any excess from the free-end.  The other end of the black cord has a spring ring and crimp end attached to it.   Lay (or glue) the free end of the black cord into this crimp end, after you have sized the necklace cord to your liking.  Use pliers and/or a hammer to press down both sides of the crimp to firmly hold the black cord in place.

 Flat Peyote stitch - . Approx. 572 Delicas(r) size 11/0 Tubular Peyote stitch forms a tube naturally. 26 Delicas(r) 11/0 around tube. Delicas (R) make the most uniform, sleek necklace. Available with, or without, a hole drilled in the bottom for attaching a head pin, jewelry findings, etc.
